MUSICIAN
& professional partier
Ever since age 3 Andrew has had a violin in-hand. As a child he began with Suzuki and eventually moved on to more standard classical training at the Manhattan School of Music Pre-Conservatory.
He studied there for 8 years until college - training in violin, voice and piano throughout. Growing up, Andrew performed with local orchestras and in operas, including “Amahl and the Night Visitors” (as Amahl).
As a professional musician, Andrew has experience performing with bands, orchestras, DJ's, as a soloist, and in-studio. He plays both acoustic and electric violin (5-string) - and is known for combining his skills by singing while playing. He is also a strong improviser on the violin and has been invited into recording sessions many times to create his own tracks. If he can hum it, he can play it.
Though career-wise Andrew considers himself an actor first, he consistently works as a professional musician with various entertainment companies (including Hank Lane Music), venues, and as a solo singer/instrumentalist.
